So I came across the fruitful vine lady while visiting the Nester’s site last winter, I believe she was featured on it. I knew right then I really wanted to use some of her work somewhere in my home and decided it would be a good summer project. With homeschooling and all I can’t really spend any extra time or energy with too many fun little projects. I like to have a few for the summer months. If you recall this was last years main project. After figuring out the pressure canner and buying a case of peaches this was the only thing left I really wanted to do this summer.
Anyways! I was soo excited to contact Tonya and get started on this. She is a very nice Christian lady who was so easy to work with and quickly had my order on it’s way. I would defiantly recommend her and I do have the vinyl color samples if you’d like to see them. You pick out the exact size, colors and fonts you’d like, so it’s very customized.
Here they are! Click to enlarge. And I can tell you those bold ‘pleasant words’ in the hallway have already helped me with my tone and volume as I’ve been about to holler upstairs to little people. I’ve also quoted our new verse above the patio during supper to someone who was having problems walking in a manner pleasing to the Lord and not showing any good fruit. So here it what our walls say…

My very detailed SIL, Lois, and kiddos came out this week to help me put them up. Ok, she basically put them on the walls while I handed her a few things, sat on my stool and maybe ate a popsicle or two. I just never could have done this, I can’t measure straight to save my soul and really just am not very patient with too many little details. Just ask my husband he loves landscaping with me. I have to tell you they are alittle putzsie and don’t go up as fast as I thought they would but nonetheless I love them! And we maybe had a few minor setbacks which I won’t mention but we will never forget! So thank you Lois for taking the time outa your business week to come help me do this for me!

It was a lot of fun to come out and help you. I do like how they turned out. I too will NEVER forget the "memories". I laugh every time when I think about our experience. NOT that I would want it to happen again, but it sure did make for a "moment" that we can tell our kids and grandkids someday. :-)
